CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – 21 May 2018, the Technical Officers of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Branch No. 10 (NCMB RB 10) in cooperation with Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board 10 (RTWPB-10) conducted an orientation seminar on Labor Management Cooperation (LMC), How to Handle Grievance and Productivity Improvement Program to the key personnel and selected staff of Limketkai Luxe Hotel and Resort Corp. (LLHRC).

Mr. Larry M. Maliksi, HRM Manager expressed full support in the implementation of LMC Program with LLHRC.  He cited his experienced in abroad, that the company he has been working practiced workplace cooperation and partnership program and he is very proud that the same was introduced in LLHRC.

Mr. Maliksi said, “One of the LMC we are practicing right now is, the management brought a Gold Plated Trophy, the trophy will be passed through to a department whose workers do not have absences/tardiness for the month or “a perfect attendance group”, other than the trophy, a Cash amounting to 5,000.00 was also given.”

What we did is an innovative approach to prevent the increase of number of tardiness and absences of our employeesAll workers are committed on their part not to be tardy or absent and of course they don’t want the trophy will be given to others, as much as possible they want the trophy to be in their department.” Mr. Maliksi added.

LLHRC is an unorganized establishment and ranked number 1 hotel in the city.  There were 41 regular employees (21 male and 17 female) with more than 200 workers, some of them were employees from the service providers.
